Tim Roth Praises His She-Hulk Co-Stars Mark Ruffalo & Tatiana Maslany New

Tim Roth reveals what it was like working with Tatiana Maslany and Mark Ruffalo on She-Hulk, describing the entire experience as “a blast.”

Tim Roth really enjoyed working with his She-Hulk co-stars Mark Ruffalo and Tatiana Maslany. She-Hulk was first announced in 2019 and, in another, COVID-free world, might’ve premiered last year. Emmy winner Maslany will play Jennifer, the cousin of Bruce Banner (Ruffalo) who develops similar Hulk-like abilities.

The series also stars Jameela Jamil, Ginger Gonzaga, Renee Elise Goldsberry, and Roth in his third MCU project. Roth first played Emil Blonsky, aka Abomination, in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk, which starred Edward Norton as the green-skinned hero.

With the MCU largely shifting away from that film in the years after its release, it seemed unlikely that Roth would ever play Abomination again; in fact, he said he doubted such a thing occurring back in 2017. However, the MCU found a place for Roth and Abomination with last year’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, thus paving the way for him to also appear in She-Hulk.

In a recent interview with UPROXX about his film Sundown, Roth touched upon what it was like to film She-Hulk for Marvel.

Roth didn’t say much about his role in the show, but he did heap some praise upon Maslany and Ruffalo while speaking about his filming experience as a whole. He said:(Store: https://hipmodes.com/)

In Shang-Chi, he was less of a villain and more of a surprising buddy for Wong (Benedict Wong), perhaps indicating he’ll be tamer by the time he turns up in She-Hulk. As Roth’s comments show, Abomination will share scenes with both Bruce and Jennifer. Fans already knew about the scenes with Bruce, as Roth previously talked about how Ruffalo helped him ease into filming. Still, the thought of Abomination and Hulk coming face to face once again is an exciting prospect, so people probably don’t mind hearing about it again.

As for Maslany, few have doubts about her talent. She amazed fans and critics alike with her multi-pronged performance on Orphan Black, and many are excited to have her join the MCU. Roth’s assessment that she’s “incredible” probably doesn’t even begin to cover it. So far, She-Hulk has only received a short teaser via Disney+ Day, but with the show set to premiere later this year, it hopefully won’t be long before Marvel shares more peeks. It sounds like it’s shaping up to be a good one.
