Doctor Strange Variant Powers Unleashed In Multiverse of Madness Trailer

A new thirty-second ad spot for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness highlights the powers of the Strange multiversal variants in the film.

A new Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness trailer focuses on the variants unleashing their powers upon the world. The film, which is the first direct sequel to 2016's Doctor Strange, was directed by Sam Raimi, who is best known for two titanic cinematic trilogies: the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man films and the classic Evil Dead horror films. In keeping with his history, this film is primed to blend superhero comic spectacle with a horror bent, following the devastating consequences of Doctor Strange's actions in the previous Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 4 film Spider-Man: No Way Home where Peter Parker enlisted the sorcerer to cast a spell that went wrong and caused the multiverse to begin collapsing.(Visit Store: highlightstee.com)

Although the collapse of the multiverse was prevented by the end of No Way Home (at the cost of the world forgetting who Peter Parker is), the ripple effect of that event will be felt in full force in Doctor Strange 2. The film, which also features Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch fresh from the events of WandaVision, will feature a cavalcade of multiversal variants of both her and Doctor Strange. As a terrifying new enemy emerges, they will have to fight alongside returning character Wong (Benedict Wong) and new hero America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez).

Marvel (via Doc Ock on Youtube) recently released a new 30-second ad spot for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, titled "Nightmare." The spot zeroes in on the variants of Doctor Strange himself and all the havoc they will wreak throughout the film. This includes the evil Doctor Strange who will most likely be the primary villain of the film, as well as a close look at the zombie Doctor Strange who has been seen in previous ad spots. Check out the video, which is currently only available online in a low-quality version, below:

The fact that the multiverse is clearly still accessible in this film has led to a lot of speculation about the impact this film will have on the future of the MCU. This includes having either Garfield or Maguire return as their alternative Peter Parkers, which Marvel is almost definitely considering following the huge box office gross of No Way Home. However, as far as Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness itself, there has been a firestorm of fan theories around a certain voice heard in the trailer, which may very well be Patrick Stewart's Professor X from the X-Men franchise. Still, what's on everyone's mind is the amount of variants of Strange and Wanda that may be seen in the film.

There will almost certainly be more variants of Doctor Strange himself than this Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness ad reveals. The film will be exploring similar territory to Loki season 1, which eventually revealed a half dozen alternate Lokis, including a particularly beloved variant that was an alligator. This ad spot has likely only showed a fraction of the different Stranges that will soon come tumbling into the Marvel universe.
